The 3rd Octopus Festival In Kashima City
The 3rd Octopus Festival takes place from February 1st to the 29th in Kashima City, Ibaraki pref.
In Japan, the octopus is an auspicious food to eat and Kashima’s octopus is especially well known for it’s delicious taste and meaty texture.
Visit during this winter to taste the local specialty seafood.

Kashima city’s participating restaurants in the 3rd Octopus Festival
Access:By bus, it’s two hours ride from Tokyo Station Yaesu south exit to Kashima Jingu station.
By train, it’s about 70 minutes ride from Narita station to Kashima Jingu station.
From Kashima Jingu station, you can catch a taxi to each restaurant.
*Please note that these restaurants may be temporarily closed during the festival.
